Born and raised in Sarasota, Robert Howard has dedicated his career to building safer, stronger, and smarter communities. He studied Construction Management and Building Sciences at Auburn University, laying the technical foundation that would carry him through a diverse and fast-paced early career.
Before returning home, Robert spent years traveling the United States working for nationally recognized general contractors. During that time, he helped deliver hotels, multifamily developments, and commercial construction projects, gaining hands-on experience with complex builds and large-scale operations.
Driven by a desire to bring this expertise back to his hometown, Robert returned to Sarasota with his wife and daughter to replant his roots. Soon after, he partnered with longtime friend William Sadlo to launch what is now RNW Contractors — a company built on integrity, technical excellence, and a genuine commitment to the community.
Robert holds multiple professional credentials, including Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC), Florida Certified Roofing Contractor (CCC), IASM-trained structural moving and lifting professional, Stormwater and Erosion Control certification, and OSHA 30-Hour Safety certification.
Today, Robert leads RNW Contractors with a focus on structural expertise, house lifting, renovations, and full-service general contracting. His approach blends engineering-driven precision with a deep understanding of the local conditions unique to Sarasota, Siesta Key, and Florida’s coastal environments.
Outside of work, Robert can often be found fishing, enjoying Florida’s coastline, and spending time with his wife and daughter, who inspire the values and vision behind every project he takes on.
William Sadlo brings a unique and disciplined leadership background to RNW Contractors, shaped by years of experience in the maritime industry before transitioning into construction. He studied at Texas A&M Maritime Academy, where he developed a strong foundation in operations, logistics, and leadership under demanding, real-world conditions.
Following his education, William worked aboard ships and earned his Unlimited Tonnage License, a credential that reflects extensive training in crew management, safety protocols, scheduling, and operational decision-making. Life at sea required precision, accountability, and the ability to manage people and resources effectively in high-stakes environments — skills that would later translate seamlessly into the construction industry.
After transitioning into construction, William applied his maritime leadership experience to managing complex projects, crews, and timelines. His ability to coordinate personnel, anticipate challenges, and maintain disciplined schedules has become a cornerstone of RNW Contractors’ operational success.
As Vice President and co-founder of RNW Contractors, William oversees day-to-day operations, field execution, scheduling, and quality control. He works closely with project teams, subcontractors, and engineers to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to RNW’s exacting standards. His calm, methodical approach is especially valuable on technically complex projects such as structural house lifting and coastal construction.
Outside of work, William is a devoted husband to his wife, Davanie, and a proud father to their two sons, William and Harrison. He enjoys spending time with his family on the water, fishing and boating, a lifestyle that reflects both his maritime roots and the values of balance, discipline, and responsibility he brings to RNW Contractors. Together with Robert Howard, William has helped build RNW Contractors into a trusted full-service general contracting firm serving Sarasota, Siesta Key, St. Petersburg, and surrounding Gulf Coast communities.
